Well, I had a bit of a slip up today. *sigh* I just couldn't resist the temptation of a McDonald's McDouble cheeseburger, so I caved in and ate one this afternoon. I suppose I justified it by telling myself I had burned an extra 800 kcals sawing firewood this afternoon and that the 390 kcals and all the bad stuff (salt, fat and white bread) was offset by this activity. That and the fact even with the cheeseburger my caloric intake was 1238 kcals less than what I burned for today and also that my overall sodium intake was almost 300mg less than the maximum suggested for one day. Nevertheless, I need to be better about avoiding the fast food. Oh well, what's done is done and I can't undo the bad deed I did. I'll just have to get back on track and stay off the fast food and keep up with the better eating habits I've established for myself over the last four months.
