Gorgeous day! The front came through and now it's clear blue skies, sun, low 80's, low humidity, and breezy! Because I switched my days off, I walked 3.2 miles after church; 1.2 of it with DH and doggies.
Packers football game is later this afternoon and I'm all ready with my t-shirt on, flag flying outside, and bammer balls at the ready - Go Pack!!!
While DH is at church practicing with the instrumental ensemble, I'll be baking up a deep dish pizza for us to have around halftime - low carb, of course!

So glad you are getting a break fro that heat. Nicer here too. I intend to start walking again at lunch time. BTW Sandy - I googled "bammer balls" and got nothing. Please explain.

OK Buffy, I'll introduce you to bammer balls. They're small, hand-sized footballs that "say" something when you hit them/bam them on something. Of course, the footballs are in one's team colors and have the appropriate logo on them. Mine cycle through 3 different sayings, the last of which is, "Touchdown Packers!" My older one occasionally gets stuck on just one saying but luckily, it's the touchdown saying! Funny....I would have thought for certain that Google would have returned something for you.....maybe it's just anti-Cheesehead! LOL!

It has been a lot nicer in the weather department..but it was a bit chilly this morning...sun is out now though and should be in the low 70's today..have a great on dear..hope your team won..:O)

So glad you are having way better weather...hope it lasts for a good long time. Once again, I am with Buffy on the bammer ball thing...no clue did I have, so thanks for the info on those. I hope you enjoy your pizza as much as I do when we have it, as it sure is great game-day fare.
Anyway, I was catching up on your journal & was, once again surprised at how un-alone we are. I was looking at my closets too...wondering just how long was I gonna keep this stuff, then decided another day wouldn't hurt. I think it's so much easier to do somebody elses because we aren't so "attached" to the stuff. BUT...working at a thrift store is a perfect opportunity to bring more home...LOL..but, that's just me!
