rswithenbankd's Journal, 20 May 10

Well I tried to work my butt off today, but my dog was not doing well on our run. Every squirrel she saw made her go psycho, she usually is not this crazy during our daily trips, but yesterday one of the dogs caught one in the back yard and ate half of it before we even knew what was up. I did reduced my calories today, because tomorrow is weigh in day. I hate weigh in days, I stress about the numbers so much. I ate to much bread today which I know is going to effect my total. I hope I have at lease a three pound loss this time. Keeping my fingers crossed for the morning. My pedometer reads 15,072 steps and 8.91 miles.

I know the feeling. My dog runs after leaves.

What is with that? I mean are they really that bored? What kind of dog is yours?

I have a Jack Russell and a Rat Terrier and they both can't handle birds, squirrels, leaves, or anything for that matter. Just the terrier in them!

I have six dogs and you figure someone in that pack should be good for walking with mommy, but not really. The two chihuahua are to small to keep up on my long walks, but they love to go bike riding in my backpack. My Pit was born with a common bone disorder to inbred dogs and can not walk long distances, the beagle is a terror and howls and barks at birds, leaves, smells, and even the wind, you name-it, it is disturbing her. The Boston terrier gets to hot quickly and has sensitive pads, once walked the skin off the bottom of her pad just by playing Frisbee for 10 minutes. The only walker I have is my dachshund which is the one I was speaking of earlier and she still acts up sometimes, but she will run or walk forever she just loves it and she is my oldest dog going to be 8 in August.
