I've been concentrating on varying my menu really hard lately and OMG! do I LOVE brown rice...ha! I used to hate it (mind you it's been years since I tried it) and I've resisted and resisted making it...well I browned extra lean ground beef, threw in steamed fresh green beans (lots of them), and a serving of brown rice....tossed in a little molly mcbutter...and I am officially in love!

I know....I really have to get out more....ha!

That sounds like a nice and easy meal. I like brown rice too. I like white rice better :( especially jasmine rice BUT brown rice is better for you. Isn't it nice when you try something new and it's healthy AND GOOD!! Have a great day :)

Brown rice is an acquired taste for some people, myself included. It's when I'm really hungry that I can appreciate it (or, like now, that I haven't had rice in a long long time). Don't go giving me ideas now, I woke up over my target weight today and have to be especially careful. :-) Keep up the great work StumpsMom!
