Thoughts on the Weekend: It was a busy one! I went to the gym on Saturday but only did 30 minutes. I didn't realize that the child care closed at 7PM and we got there at 6:15. Oh well, at least I made it in for 30 minutes! Sunday, DH went with me to the gym. I was SO close to saying "let's not go." but I bit my tongue and went. We did 30 minutes of cardio and then worked on our arms. I was more relaxed on my food yesterday too. :( For breakfast, I had 1/2 of a breakfast sandwich on wheat bread with chicken sausage, eggs and LF cheese. For dinner, my MIL invited us over. She made spaghetti and meatballs. I was good- I only had a salad with 3 meatballs, no bread, no pasta...BUT I had two sips of red wine. EEK!!! I think I may do a 3rd week of Phase I...
Oh!! On an exciting note...DH and I had THE talk...you know, the talk about having another baby. We agreed that when I lose 30 pounds, I would have my IUD taken out so that we can start trying!! It sounds weird that I'll be working SO hard to lose the weight, only to gain it back again if I get pg. But I would MUCH rather gain the weight when I'm lighter than now...I really want to have a second child so this will be a HUGE motivator for me!!
Breakfast: 1 c of LF cottage cheese
AM Snack: Celery sticks and red pepper with some hummus
Lunch: Salad with grilled chicken
PM Snack: Pistachio- ETA: Didn't eat my PM snack. I keep forgetting about it!
Dinner: Tilapia- ETA: baked with a salsa made with sun dried tomatoes, capers, kalamata olives. Roasted Eggplant ETA: Had Sauteed Mushrooms instead "Mashed Potatoes"
Workout: Ab workout at home- ETA: Didn't do this...it was a busy night. I ended up finishing laundry and gave DD a bath. Doesn't seem like much but after making dinner, I was done!
Water: 2 qts so far!
