New to this app so apologies if this has been brought up before. The Keto diets uses butter and not margarine. What is everyone’s opinion about this? Some sites say butter is bad and other sites that margarine is bad. At this point I am so confused. Which is better?

I think it depends who pays for those sites... The sites that says butter is bad, are being sponsored by Margarine manufacturers (just my personal opinion). I personally haven't used margarine for the last 4 years, if not longer. Some times i cook with butter & some times with coconut oil.

Oh and another thing... My boss is a chemical engineer, & he told me a very interesting thing about margarine - it always states 50% spread, or something like that, anyways, the rest of it is water in the structure... So you are paying for water.
