you have to try and relax, the scale will drive you crazy. it is bad enough to have pain let alone let my mind go nuts over a crazy machine. My scale always makes me crazy. I try to ignore the ups and downs, I have a 4 pound difference during the day. It is all water weight. You know this, so maybe you need to stay off the scale for a couple days, keep yourself on track with your calories and relax. Maybe read a book or catch up on some favorite shows while you are recovering. Your body will be working harder to heal. Healthy food is important for your recovery
