First thing is to say thanks to my buddies. It is nice to know that there is someone to share this with and understands what this journey is all about. Today I am re-focusing on the basics and some self-help motivational thoughts. Water,water,water...drink until you can't and then drink some more. I know that if I don't drink enough, I don't do as well so keep drinking. Yesterday, I went upstairs to get some coffee and there was a 10 lb bag of sugar by the coffee pot (I don't use sugar in my coffee). I picked it up and was amazed at how heavy it seemed. I then realized that I have lost 5 1/2 bags. I have a shelf in my office (I work at home) that I have rice and flour that equals the weight I have lost. When I get discouraged, I do some "weight lifting" and realize that even though I do have a long way to go, I have also done excellent so far. It can really help keep you motivated.
