My bf and I went out for Valentine's Dinner last night - decided to go last night instead of thursday to beat the rush and bc of our work schedule. I drank way too much wine, but I really didn't overeat. It was an incredible restaurant in SF (Aqua) which serves absolutely beautifully executed food and the portions tend to be pretty small. the great thing about Pat is that he doesn't have food issues like me and will eat what I don't eat, so I quickly shove another portion to him when i start feeling too full. Handy, huh?
When I woke up at 4:00 this morning with night sweats from drinking too much (that's a given - i don't even get upset about it anymore - ah the joys of menopause!), I read most of Cardio Free. Man, the food plan is bleak, but so is counting calories. it doesn't take much to add up to 1200 kcal. I've got figure out what i can live with - I've done it b4 and I can do this again.
