tried my hand at running today. 12 min and i was feeling sick. wish there was an easier way to lose weight. feeling disheartened but will keep going. lowering my calories to 1700 per day as well. wish me luck.

I find that if I am not losing after a week, I lower my calories by 200. The RDI on the site is usually not helpful. If you are feeling frustrated by the exercise, start with focusing on food first. My trainer started me with: no bread, no white potatoes, no pasta, no rice. No soda, no juices. Good luck, hope you find a good way to lose that you can make work!

Thank you for the advice. Yes i went and spoke with my Dr and she recommended dropping to about 1200 calories for my age and height so I'm gonna try that for a bit and see if that works. Will keep you posted
